True Detective is down to the final two episode of this season — a season that has been blasted for being not as solid as it probably could have been.
We’re nearing the season finale and we’re just now finding out what the hell is going on.
Colin Farrell is a drunk who was dead but isn’t dead. Taylor Kitsch’s character committed war crimes, unless he didn’t, and is battling his homosexuality while Rachel McAdams is being discriminated against in the workplace for being a woman who happens to embrace her sexual side like her male counterparts do.
This season has dealt with corruption, betrayal, having a fat ginger kid as a son even though you’re gorgeous and the value o having the right people on your side. Not many people are hot on this season so far, but the hype about the final two episodes has us all hopeful that the series won’t let us down before it bows out.
